I had an old coffee table from the 60's that was my grandmothers for years. I used it in college so neeedless to say it got a few scuffs and stains on it. Being a family hand me down I could never bring my self to get rid of it so it's been in a garage or closet getting more scuffs and stains along the way.

Well I finally decided to refinish it last week.

This was my second holster - a little rough here and there but it still worked out. Gave it as a Christmas present. Here's the backside

Granny was rockin' the mid-century modern, was she? Sweet. Nice job on refinish - did you stay true to color? You could get a few hundred for that piece easy.

Yeah my grandparents were total mid-century mod decor. I think that is why I have always been subconsciously drawn to it myself, even before learning what that style was called.

My mom has her dining room table with chairs and China Cabinet that is mid-cen mod too. Really cool pieces.

I did use an antique walnut stain so it was pretty close to the original color. Wish I had taken a before pic.

Minnow trap.

Not exactly the high quality wood work for those awesome guitars.

I wanted to take it all the way to the fence on the left and to the other door to the right with 45-45 turn around the corner of the pool, it would have added much more covered area and made it a lot more comfortable to sit outside all year, kitchen going in on the far left next spring.
