Things I Have Built

Seriously it's on a wall not the ceiling, but if the ceiling is the roof then ...

There's a Cadillac outside a hotel here in downtown Bentonville and they have clear coated coins over the entire car

It's laid on 1/2 inch birch plywood, she glued them down with liquid nails(it seemed to hold better than anything else) then she got a 2 part glaze with hardener and coated it once, it has about an 1/8th inch coat of the glaze, I've seen the silver dollar Cadillac at the country music hall of fame.

Doesn't sound like she needs help with glue but I've used some of the Locktite glue, that stuff holds really well. Definitely better than Gorilla Glue.

Sure thanks, we tried some loctite and the only clear stuff they had just absorbed into the wood , if it was sealed or stained first it may work, I want a Tn Tristar flag with stained background next,

Locktite glue is awesome. We use some in my business where we used to use liquid nail. It's called PL premium adhesive. Much better than liquid nail. Cost a little more but worth it.

Well bad news for my wife, she really wanted it to go up for auction by Keller Williams for the Ronald McDonald house but the CEO forgot it at her office and it didn't get to make it to the auction, kind of disappointed by their lack of respect and negligence, they were to worried about themselves and pissed a few people off forgetting their donations, oh well. We will try to sell it and donate ourselves to a charitable organization. She will have a Facebook page up soon to try and find interested people.

Sorry to hear that, hopefully somebody will buy it.

Have any of you guys ever done any wood carving?
I was messing around with my Dremmel and thought I'd see what I could do.

This is my first attempt so I kept it pretty simple.

I've done a bit of spoon and bowl carving and did a wood spirit once. Never used a Dremel for them though, just axes and gouges mostly.
