Things I'm happy about today

That's really cool. The Sox fought for my fandom back then. In fact, he first Sox game I watched in its entirety, Wilson Alvarez threw a no-hitter.

I remember that. I watched them a lot back in the early to mid 90s. Went to Old Comiskey the last season and new Comiskey the first season. Saw Bo play in the new one. I still have a brick from Comiskey.

Quit watching baseball when they had a strike that resulted in no World Series that year.

That is when my Dad had had enough. It took a while for me to come back. Ripken approaching Gehrig's consecutive games streak is what got me watching again, then the '98 steroid fueled home run chase brought me all the way back.

Kevin!!! 💕💕💕

I’m trying to convince myself that all these teasers mean that they’ll show what I thought was the intro will be shown in the course of the game, maybe 7th-inning stretch

That blue does look good, that's about all I'll say for the turd birds.

Wrigley is an absolutely great place to watch a baseball game, that is about all I will say about the cubbies.

Actually, Cubs/Cards games are great. I have had great baseball conversations with Cubs fans at games.

It's a good rivalry. I get piled on here sometimes, but I've got Exie to fall back on. I do remember in the early nineties when everyone went batcrap crazy over the Braves around here and I got to say "about time you all found a team, you friggin' posers." I was about 10 at the time, lol

I have really enjoyed listening to the Giants radio broadcasts and having the tv broadcasts as well. They have great announcers. Jon Miller did the Orioles broadcasts when I lived in the DMV, and I was stoked when I moved to SF and heard him on the Giants broadcasts. I had no idea he had moved back to the bay.
miller is one of the best
will be pulling for giants and brewers unless redbirds pull of and incredible run,

That is the main reason I hate the Braves. The Cardinals always had a big following in Memphis, then the Braves go from worst to first and everyone jumped on the bandwagon.

Dale Murphy is what got me hooked on the braves as a kid.
