Things I'm happy about today

It’s all yours. I theefed it from my church newsletter email!
I remember a story about a fatted calf from Sunday School class, but this is the first time I made the connection between baby cows, baby dolphins, and the OT.
Now it all makes cents.

So, is it that time of year when you look at your garden and give thanks that it’s at its death knell?
Yes. It. Is!!!!!

— other than the fact that I have since planted lettuce and spinach and am getting ready to plant onions, garlic, and shallots. And maybe leeks, although I’m not certain what to do with them if they make it through winter.

I’ve never cooked with leeks, but I’ve always been intrigued with using them. I just haven’t taken the time to incorporate them into anything yet. I have to have that feeling when I finally do. Love the rest of your fall garden.
