Next time we move, I may leave an entire closet of spouse's clothing as a housewarming gift for the next owners

I don’t care if we’ve not worn it in years and not sure if it’s still in the house, but don’t ever think we won’t know it’s gone the minute it leaves the house.

The amount of clothing that is 20-25 years old and hasn't been worn in a decade is astonishing. She still has some of the tops from her bartending days.

Clothing isn't exactly like wine, it doesn't usually get better with age.

And let's not even begin to talk about shoes..

One amazing thing is that all this old stuff probably fits her after all this time.

As opposed to *cough* those *cough* who hang on to clothes that would require a near-miracle to get back into one day. I tell myself that if I WERE able to wear them again one day, I would celebrate by getting rid of them and replacing them with something new.

We got almost 2 wine fridges completely full. If I move a bottle, she will know immediately when she opens it

Ha, she did. It's not too hard to distract me. She then had this Aha! moment about 45 mins later where it was. I had forgot already.
