We split season tix with another couple so significantly less than General Public sale. Slightly less than $100 each.

Friend of mine sent me a message about an hour ago. She just got hired full time for the University of Tennessee! She said she didn't know if she gets a discount on tickets, but if she does she'll use it if I want some! Happy for her though.

I love the outer banks. Another one of my most favorite places. It used to be so isolated and why I love it. No touristy places way back when. Late 1990’s, I think.

It’s an Outer Banks barrier island that won’t be around forever. Only reachable by ferry (or private boat or plane) so refreshingly free of drunken college students. You get around mostly by bike. #OldSkool

I went by the shop hoping to catch them, and tell them I'd be leaving in a week. The older owner was there, but not his son. Though sad to leave them, I'm happy that he was happy for me, genuinely. He said he hated to lose me, but is so happy for me to be getting better benefits. He said any day I'm off and want to work, I can just come in. Idk if that'll work, but I'm happy he feels that way about my work.

Happy that we got a new rocker for the living room. We’d been using a spindly one from my grandmother’s house, probably a hundred years old, and I was always scared witless when someone other than the cat sat in it.
