If I weren’t so (ahem) extra happy, I’d have taken a pic and posted it, but hey: it was a nice fire in a firepit from Lowes, mostly made of screening, great ventilation, perfect on a late October night.

Knee has been hurting a bit lately, so I bought a slip on knee brace. I also wore my good tennis shoes, usually on wear out somewhere not to the gym or anything, but I wore them to the gym the last couple of days. They really are comfortable, under armour, so I figured I'd stop at the outlets while in commerce and look for a new "good" pair, and wear these to the gym. I bought these at a different store, not under armour, but went in the UA store today. They have a 2 for $80 deal, so I got me and Tiffany a pair. Mine were originally $130, don't know about hers, but we got both for $77. The girl gave us some other discount, made me happy!

I'll know in a couple of weeks, hopefully. Found a guy that will do it for a more reasonable amount of moola. We'll see if he shows up and if the price changes.

But first, I gotta go fishing on the Outer Banks for a couple of weeks. Priorities......

I just talked the group into a st George island fishing trip in December. We’re doing the outer banks next year.

We've already moved on to dark gold, russet, and deep red.

This has been the loveliest October I can remember for many, many years and in many locations. (Obviously this is not true for those hit by Ian.) :-(
