WHAT?!?!?!! That's the second time today someone has compared Motley Crue with POISON.....yuck. They are mostly sorta nothing alike, and I resent it for their sake being compared to that wanna be masscarra band. Maybe it's a woman thing.....My wife made the comparison also, I was and am still appalled.

I saw Crue twice last summer. They were awful.

Bret Michaels 36 hours out of the hospital in 105 degree heat was better than Vince. I'm not sure Mick knew where he was at.

It's 2023......why would anyone want to see either of them live now? That's just weird. Who wants to see a 60 yr old man in spandex talk about partying? Only 80's concerts count. MC was awesome in context to their time, and are very much a good nostalgia trip to that time. Seeing them play now broken and old, and minus Mick Marr who basically carried them for the most part....is just depressing. Likewise Poison represents the end of that era, and everything that went wrong with it as Labels tried to cash in. They thought they could take 4 hacks dress them up for the part, and produce the crap out of it and remake the magic..and maybe it worked on pop culture radio (by sheer force) but not for most in the Metal/Hard Rock scene. It was in fact revulsion to Poison why the genre again morphed back into garge band sound, and blues and grunge again.

I dearly loved Def Leppard but when I see them now it makes me want to cry. I'll listen to the old albums, and pretend they all retired in the 90's (as they all should have). A better concert now would be like Girish and the Chronicles....there's a few newer bands trying to keep teh genre alive and doing it well. This genre is meant for the young though. I don't blame the decaying rcokers for trying I guess, their still addicted to the road life, but I wish they had a tad more pride and realized when to move on. Old people playing this is like elderly porn....I guess there's a market but it isn't pretty.
