Just got back from the Wallsmart. I am happy to say, at least for today, I am not a peoples of Wallsmart.

I have decided to retire again this coming May. I am going to take it easy and do the dog training full-time. Training dogs is not work to me. I am much better with dogs than I am with people.

Little bit is at a swim meet in Dalton, the HS championship meet. She made the finals in something, but we're not sure what. That's her, no details, just "I made finals", and we probably won't hear another peep until she gets home . I'm gonna assume breaststroke, that's her best one.

I actually got an update from little bit. She ended up making the finals is 3 events, two individuals, and one relay. She finished 6th in both her individual finals, not bad for the championships. She was disappointed, but I told her to be proud, making the finals itself is a good accomplishment. Her relay team done good, but got dq'd. One of the kids dove in too soon.

Congrats on the promotion. Hard work pays off.

That, and having a wonderful manager. I made a lateral move to this team because my other manager told me they don't do promotions. Which is not true, it's just very hard to do without a lot of work from your manager and their manager making a business case on your behalf. Otherwise you can only get promotions by applying for the higher role once one opens up.

I told my manager when I made the move to her team, I wanted to go to the next level, whether on her team or another. She helped me make it happen.
