Your oldest is way older/ grown-up/ experienced/ etc etc, but those days when my son drove his sisters to school, all three kids in one vehicle... I don't ever want to live through something like that again.

Gots my new fine-ass Costco hearing aids today!! So cool.

I haven’t lost all that much hearing (yet) for most pitches (frequencies), but my high-frequency hearing just fell right off the charts.

So far, so good: things aren’t louder, just “rounder” and more full. I get feedback from my own voice, but apparently there’s AI tech in these things, and they will adjust over the next few weeks. They’re Bluetooth-enabled, so they replace my dorky Beats Flex for YouTube, Zoom, etc.

Interestingly, the tinnitus (24/7 ringing in my right ear) is already less intrusive.

Giant Sony headphones from the 70’s + Allman Bros., Yes, and Clapton: all y’all should be picking up part of the tab!
