I’ve been driving (wasting gas) trying to find an open gas station, and it’s just unbelievable

Hundreds of people standing around some of the fire/police stations because they have cell and wifi (satellite phones.) Just trying to find out what is going on, checking in with loved ones

Stepdaughter in Cali verified I-26 toward SC is open, found us a hotel, made reservations, none of which we could do ourselves until a couple of hours ago.

Prayers for all those who are so, so much worse off than we are. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

panic because trucks wont be able to make it for who knows how long -- Red Cross will likely be flying in food and stuff soon

I-40 east of town (landslide) is partially cleared for emergency vehicles. I-26 coming up from SC is clear.

The coordination is getting off to a shaky start.

Lack of accountability. I am responsible for signing off on stuff that other people were supposed to do and have yet to do. And today (in like 5 minutes actually) is the deadline. I have emailed multiple times as have others. No response. Guess who gets yelled at?
