why would we?I don't know what the ESPN take is of our offense, and I do realize we're primarily a running team, but I also see that we don't normally sub within possessions, and it seems a lot of games we don't have many receivers rotating in. In no way is that a criticism of our coach. And, it's my view that none of these three guys were instrumental in our offense, and they may feel they could be somewhere else.
I don't know why you think I'm being critical of Heupel's offense. I absolutely love it - love that we don't allow the defense to sub. My point was that if you're not in the 2-deep, and we don't get a lot of possessions, you probably won't see the field much.why would we?
our drives aren't very long, so guys stay fresh. and we rely on tempo, so subbing during the possession hurts us there too. Butch Jones changed out WRs every play, didn't make him a good coach, our WRs or offense any better.
in our system it makes much more sense to give guys a full series. its not like it hurts our WRs stats. there are plenty of factors that do, but the rotation isn't one of them
I was very concerned about the secondary situation last season. Talented yet unproven guy were stepping up. It turned out the new secondary is pretty good. Fulmer-era good with some great DLine play to help them out.People panicked when we lost our secondary last year but it ended up being an upgrade. I will say our WR core has struggled at times this year.
