This class comes down to one thing...

Start catering to 5 stars and a coach can lose control. It's part of Fulmer's demise. It was part of the problem with Hurd and Williams. The class is a good one. Chandler and Smith are special. At this stage of rebuilding player character does count and CBJ focuses on getting guys they evaluate as team players from winning programs. The principle was probably reinforced by the experience of 2016.

This makes a lot of sense...I'm hoping that last year was an example of Butch letting the "player led team" get the best of him and that he'll use this off season and staff changes as a means to get things back under control...the intensity and discipline wasn't there this year and you saw that from game one on...but the fact that it was there in Butchs first three years gives me hope they he can get it back on track...while I think it's okay to have egos on the team you can't let them overtake the locker room

Sad to see you fall to the dark side. Hope you are wrong also. I personally will go down with the ship because I don't like feeling negative about a thing I love and the consternation about this class is extreme and unwarranted, especially before any of them even step on the field.

Dark side is a strong take. I want to see Butch figure it out. I'm not one of those guys hoping he will fail to say 'I told you so'. My confidence is starting to decline on Butch being the guy to get us to the next level. Year 5 is definitely nut cutting time for him to breakthrough. No excuses this year IMO.

You wouldn't know right from wrong if it bit you in the ars dude. How old are you, 15?

Yea, that was uncalled for, we all make mistakes when we are young. I've had my share of problems because of alcohol. I just got irritated at u, because u made fun of me saying dude. I, actually, think Heather has become a decent sports radio host. She has really upped her game over the last couple of years. Mickey gets on my nerves a lot, but I do listen to them every morning. Everybody makes mistakes, but the bottom line is, I was disappointed in this class, but, I do believe it will be better than it's rated, in the long run.

Clemson and Auburn had one thing in common, a dominant duel threat QB and a defensive line that made things happen. Looks like that could be the secret to success without top 10 recruiting classes or, of course, they could just be underrated
