This class is sick - Get ready for a coming out party vs Oklahoma

Remember they will be FRESHMAN, but it will be nice to look out on the field and see 20 4stars and a couple of 5stars in 1 class.

Butch is going to have this team frothing at the mouth when they play Oklahoma. You can feel the momentum slowly turning and by 9/13 this team will be ready to go out there and let loose.

Ferguson is finally going to be unleashed by this coaching staff - who should he throw TD's to?

North?
Malone?
Pig?

Hell, there's plenty to go around after Ferg has ran a couple in himself.

Oh wait,

let's not forget our 5* back Hurd who may want a couple and our newest commit, Mr. 'just torched the grass behind me' Scott.

This is going to feel like Vols vs. NCSU in the dome, except No Dooley, No Hangover, and nothing but sparks and momentum heading into UGA.

I understand the reason for your excitement. I believe we're all pretty excited about the incoming class, but you might want to slow down and remember that these kids are freshmen and the whole team is still going to be a pretty young one overall. I hope your right about the Oklahoma game, but don't get so excited that you won't be able to handle disappointment. The reality is we are still going to have a young and inexperienced team, but hopefully an improved team.

4 national championships in a row from this class isn't too much to ask. It's not like we expect 5.

How dare you! You darn well know we expect five as well as the World Cup, the Super Bowl and for them to have the World Series wrapped up in four games!

But for the NBA championship, I'd expect it to go six games.

:eek:lol: the six games got me.

The Vols are dang sure going to explode on somebody significant, this year. Might as well be the Sooners in Norman.

GBO!

So just to be clear, nobody is allowed to be realistic about the upcoming season? And nobody is allowed to be realistic and think realistically? Everyone is supposed to be a giant sunshine pumper and expect us to beat teams like OK "soundly" and make ridiculous predictions?

Warning: It's a message forum. Multiple views present.

Good Lord. Of course people are entitled to their opinions thats the point. Why is the OP's prediction unrealistic? Because you say so? Because of his opinion he is a sunshine pumper and his predictions are ridiculous? I guess you're being realistic and that means your opinion is not ridiculous.

Lol, nice image. At least I crap happiness, where as you seem to revel in misery.

Where'd your new signature go? Did I dream it? :eek:hmy: That was the best thing I've read in a long, long time.

eta: nm, I now see it on later posts. I didn't know that they wouldn't appear on earlier posts.

I think people are expecting a little much from freshmen... While I expect the team to be vastly improved with the new guys coming in. To expect some miracle turnaround on one recruiting class is setting the bar a little high..

Personally I expect 2015 to be the season UT becomes a power in the SEC again.

Lets not put so much pressure on a group of 18yr Olds in their first year in a new system

I think 2015 is going to be the year. When we get to 2015 though I think I will be saying I think 2017 will be the year.
