I don't think the young Berniebot voters will outnumber the middle aged voters should he get the nomination. Bernie will be giving free advertisement all through the primaries. He'll have to out left his competition.

I just think maybe you can at a minimum behave as an adult and attack the argument instead of attacking both the source and the person.

Rational and reasonable people are not qualified to render an official diagnosis; particularly without performing the proper examinations. That's the point. If that's all it took plenty here would have determined you to be suffering from any number of conditions. I can find posts of yours and provide a corresponding "textbook definition" and declare the results but clearly you see the problem with that.

What is he implying when he says the FCC should investigate them? Is he saying they would investigate them and then not punish them in any way, regardless of findings? Get real.

Be sure and call out every other poster who doesn't do that ok? If not then you're simply a hypocrite. Can you link where you've called for others to be impartial and not attack other posters? Would be interested to read that

His debunk video and source were terrible. I said so. That was the argument

A threat to their speech would be “you can’t say bad things about me”. That’s not what he said.

“We should investigate to see if the dnc or Russia is funding this”

That’s a completely different argument.

For what it's worth I've had posters say my kids look like retards, insult my wife and other family members, comments about my home life (happened today), etc yet they're still allowed to post here. But of course you have no idea that happens and leave because someone got called gullible. Have fun finding your online Utopia

I've never really understood why moderators are taken to task for voicing their opinions about things. As long as they enforce the site rules fairly, what's the beef?

We are all adults here, it's the internet, what does it matter? Don't leave because of this.

You’re the moderator not him. So why do you expect him to “call out every other poster” and then label him a hypocrite for not taking that on? Sounds pretty damn petty and jumping the gun.

I’ll respond to this but then I’m out. I agree with freak that at times this part of vn has been one of the worst. I personally make efforts not to attack people but to attack arguments. I would rather spend my time debating politics on boards where that is encouraged by admin. And this isn’t the worst or only attack of his on other posters.

I don’t think it’s too much to ask instead of saying your source sucks and you’re gualable, to simply explain your side of the argument. “I disagree with your source because of ____”. If we can’t expect such simple courtesy from our mods, why would expect it from anyone?

Because he's just creating regulations out of this air I'm supposed to post around yet no one else on VN has to. I don't expect anything from him is the difference.
