Makita makes a good one. Dewalts product have gone downhill. I haven't used much ridgid equipment only there shop vac but it is a good one.

Why?

Not to get too deep, but I've had to start over a few times in the last several years due to circumstances beyond my control. Frustrates me getting within sight of the finish line only to have my job dissolve or having to have surgery. (I know...whaaa, whaaa, whaaa)

I figure if I can get my medical bills paid and my credit back in good shape, I may just start over again somewhere else.

Not much difference in the two, would probably go with the Dewalt though.
