Time to put foot to the dogs ass.

We own this season. Best defense in the nation. Time to go claim what is rightfully now ours: the top of the SEC.

The Hogs are bout to kick a FG to hopefully pull to 10-13 vs texas...they did...and now Ark has all the momentum.

I don't think the 2022 Bama game was any less impactful...it set the tone. We just didn't follow it up the next year. We're back on upwards trajectory, and being taken more seriously now that we've got a championship level D. No idea how this game turns out but hope it's a game we leave it all out there on the field w/ minimal mistakes...if we do that, I like our chances.

Vegas also had Texas as 5.5 point favorites when Georgia went down there and dominated them. Vegas isn't infallible. They sometimes make mistakes. This line IMO is a huge error on their part. I can't think of any reason why it's justified other than pointing at history and overlooking what has happened thus far this season. Georgia should be 4.5 point favorite AT MOST. The fact this line was at 10 for most of the week is insane.

This will be the rare game Vegas is wrong on my a long shot.

Hopefully we go all out to win this game. We have a glorified bye next week, then have to play a dangerous Vandy team. But this is it, the big one.

Tennessee has historically pulled out some big wins against UGA when counted out, even in Athens. Remember the 98 game was the week after Lewis was hurt. 2004 was the freshman QB game. 2006 we were down big, and came back to hang 51 on them. Butch Dobb Nail Booted them.

Heupel needs a secondary coach, an offensive coordinator and a quarterback coach, otherwise, Tennessee is a 10-2 program at best year in and year out, which in most circles is fine, the season tickets sell out, the bowl game is well attended, but the next level is the SEC championship game, an invitation to the 12 team playoff, just too many glaring gaps in the program, we can't expect the top tier teams to beat themselves when we play them
