this is the worst offensive team in program history

You would probably have to go back to the days of Margaret Hutson from 1971-1974(60-18 record) to find an offense as low scoring. Even then The LadyVols won 2 TCWSF Eastern District Championships.

You have to be kidding me placing blame on Holly with "crap offense".....its really getting old armchair,Holly mustve done something personal to you and that DarthVol nuisance because both you all jump at criticizing Holly ALL the time! Its not Holly, its the PLAYERS who miss these WIDE OPEN shots we get from this "crap offense"...at times yes the defense takes away what you're looking for on the offensive end and the play stalls...it happens to EVERYONE...unfortunately everyone else has a "go-to' player to bail them at times....we don't have that yet.
We will have that go to player next year. THE DIAMOND

Diamond will take this team up another notch, even with the 3 seniors graduating, but she's not automatic. Her passion and intensity will provide leadership, but other players can't sit around and hope that Diamond bails them out. It's good that Holly can put the ball in her hands to make things happen, but the other players have to provide scoring balance.

I hope Diamond doesn't wind up being Cubic Zirconia

The good thing is that we all saw what she did with UNC last year, so it's not like she's unproven at the college level.

In a way, she's a lot like Simmons, except she handles the big stage much better. Her shooting numbers weren't great, but she would hit big shots when her team really needed it.

I did see a few games where she was Simmons-esque in the quantity and quality of shots she'd take, so I think that's where the biggest adjustment needs to be made. If she has another solid perimeter scorer and either Graves/Russell as a low post scorer, she will be a very dangerous triple threat.

Wasn't she the NCAA freshman of the year? My only concern is that she is a team player and from all accounts she appears to be.
