This is what happens when you stick with bad Qbs—Guarantano part 2

Have to agree he doesn't see the field. doesn't read defenses well and slow going through progressions. Cost him a fumble and 7 points for the eflants. But who we got that's ready to replace him? Add one of the most limited WR corps we've had in decades and I'm surprised we've won as many as we have. I'm thinking 8-4 would be a good finish for these guys, considering all that.

8-4 would be a solid finish. Very limited in the passing game for the reasons you mentioned. Thank goodness for the running game!

Injuries are a part of the game and nobody can predict them. When Jerry Colquitt finally got his chance to start at UT ,he was injured and lost for the season in the first game of the year. Worrying about injury is not a reason not to play him, just a fan excuse. You have no idea if he is ready or not so that's speculation. Joe is not awful but he is a liability in this offense and the coaches do not trust him in all situations based entirely on his play. It limits their play calling ability. If they need is the QB to hand off and throw balls sideways, I'm not sure anybody could tell a fan that Nicco can't do that.
Joe actually does very good throwing the ball sideways. I would like to see what his completion % is on down field passing. And he throws very few passes in the middle of the field. Wonder why that is?? I think I know, but just my opinion.
