My friend - mpfvol -- No, I hate Alabama! But, I hate the fact that Michigan and Ohio State, have for years, been unfairly promoted ahead of the SEC! Charles Woodson from Michigan stole the Heisman from Peyton - the media was guilty of this! But - like I said, if Tennessee was in Alabama's shoes this year, I would be promoting the fact that a 2 loss SEC Team (very close and respectable losses), were better and a 1 loss Ohio State Team. Alabama is the lesser of 2 evil's, believe it or not! And, remember -- if the media screws Alabama this year (versus choosing Ohio State), they might do the same to us next year! And, this means -- probably about a $20 Million lost revenue for the SEC and the Team Participants! I am guessing at the $20 Million Loss - but, it has to be very substantial!

Tennessee's Defense has been embarrassing for most of the season -- I don't care how good our Offense has been ! You should have to play on both sides of the ball to be in the College Football Playoff. Let's face it -- this year, we were not ready to be in the College Football Playoffs -- but, if we get our Defense figured out -- we might get there in about 2 years! I don't see our Defense making a transformational 1 year miracle for next year -- but, we can always hope. Josh Heupel has proven he can coach Offense, but, he has not yet proven he can dominate on the Defensive side of the ball in the SEC. To be a complete Coach, Josh Heupel will have to dramatically improve on Defense. If we don't dramatically improve on Defense, we will regress in 2023, with a worse record than this year!

Also, remember -- our Vols were not competitive against Georgia either! The final score of the Georgia game was not an indication of how badly we were beaten! So, two very bad losses, neither of which we were competitive in, was the straw that broke the CFP Committee's Back, in not being able to support us!

I am not trying to create an argument -- but, just providing a realistic assessment for everyone with "orange colored" glasses! Go Vols!

The playoff committee chairman let the cat out of the bag when he admitted that UT’s loss was more recent. It’s a natural human bias of recency. If both teams are 11-1 the team with the most recent loss will be viewed more negatively

Look at the 2 that says the drive ended on Downs. Both involved a pass that was slightly overthrown for an easy TD. Bamas D didn't cause those just a miscue by Hooker. Take back the scoop and score fumble also caused by a miscues and Tennessee wins by at least 21. So yes our team absolutely beat them.

Since we beat LSU and LSU beat Alabama doesn’t that mean we beat Alabama.

It just proves that crowd noise matters.

Hey guys! No, I am a realist! Alabama came to play every Saturday and the Vols chose to take 2 vacation days! You can't take a vacation in the SEC! Here are some of my Man-Cave Items -- I have a bunch more to share as well! Go Vols! I think Josh Heupel learned something from this year's vacation days - there are no vacation days in the SEC -- even Josh Heupel admitted it - listen to his post game comments for your verfication!

Let's be honest -- Georgia whipped us on the Line of Scrimmage -- Hooker was lucky he did not get killed! Did you see the number of sacks ? If Georgia would have beaten us on a last second field goal, I would say -- "The Georgia crowd probably beat us - especially, since we jumped off-sides a number of times". But, we got dominated so bad, I had to turn the TV off early ! Most of the time, I leave the TV on -- because, I have seen very strange things in college sports, but, I knew we had no chance!
