I like Jindal the best, and I also enjoy Huck.

Guns are a right afforded us by the constitution, they have it right IMO.

The God issue is tricky, I don't think they should bend to the will of the evangelicals, but should fight against the wholesale removal of Christianity from our culture.

Even in a VERY liberal state like California gay marriage was defeated. That tells me two things 1) That many people who are against it happen to be liberal, but see preserving marriage as "1 man 1 woman" as a benefit to society. 2) That it is still an issue with many Americans.

Do I care if gay people get married? Not really, the big problem I see with it is lawsuits down the road when people with religious or moral objections refuse to render them services.

I do like Huck, too. He has a glowing spirit about him but presently will not budge towards the center. However, I think the more he mainstreams the more he will move in the next few years.

The fun part of the 2012 Republican Primary will be watching Palin get her azz handed to her in the Primary debates. She is like most dreamers, cannot except reality and totally in denial about her abilities.

Power comes more from the combination of all things of which both capitial and military are a part.

It is not solely rested on capital and right now we are a nation in Debt and still have the power needed to sustain this nation and influence others.

Are you saying when China owns us we will not be a powerful nation, then I beg to differ. Power does not solely come from money.

Look at the most powerful military nations, then look at the economic might of those nations.

No it doesn't. International power is limited to the ability of a nation to influence the rest. That ability stops at money and military.

This just makes no sense whatsoever. We are the wealthiest nation ever. We give billions out around the world. Most modernized economies on earth rely favorable trade status with us for their livelihoods.

I'm saying that China's power will rival our own only to the extent that their economy or military or both rival our own. Certainly countries can retain power without being top dog, but that power is always relative to that nations ability to exert influence via cash or guns.
