This is why we are the greatest country in the history of the world!

Disagree with the man's policies and his questionable relationships but in the end you have to be proud of Obama and this country!

God Bless America!

God Bless you Barack Obama!

I hope you are up to the task!

:)

i have been gone a few days....hey OE, your trying too hard, no one is going to take your guru status away

very well stated. you've changed my mind. Americans aren't stupid and voted for Obama because they believe in some fanciful and unidentified change. The prosperity for all message was just window dressing.

With Sarah Palin what was John McCain's msg. I know but I am beginning to wonder if yours is just Party affiliated. Try to do it without looking it up and off the top of your head. It may Suprise you.

It got him beaten by the most liberal human to grace our Senate and likely the inexperienced and ill prepared president we've ever had.

Hence, his message was the wrong freaking one.

Obama's shiny quarter from rich to poor was better than McCain's shiny quarter from the bank to the country (as opposed to the poor).

what does it say? more experience than obama? no surprise there

Pretty much summed it up in the news of the day. She was not qualified, not vetted properly and a poor choice for McCain. If I were an oddsmaker, I would say that the Republicans (we) intentionally threw the election.

I found myself thinking the same thing during McCain's horrible campaign.

I'll ask again, what was John McCain's msg. You might have to look them up because I feel you have no Idea.

you would be dead wrong and if you believe it was a singular message, you should stop reading campaign websites. Make up your own freaking mind.

The message was exactly what the nation perceived it to be, not what McCain and Co. hoped it would be.

:lolabove: and obama's 143 days on the job makes him qualified for sure

Obama's experience is no longer the issue, he now has 2 days of experience as the President Elect and will have at the end of his term 4 years more experience than Palin in the White House.

She needs to go back to school and learn basic social studies and civics. She is great for the California politics of the North, but she would have never cut it in the Real World of Washington. She acted like she was going to Disneyland that being the lower 48.

Not knowing that Africa was a continent or that South Africa was a country in the continent speaks volumes to her experience. Not knowing anything about NAFTA speaks to her inexperience. Not knowing the duties of the VP speaks to her inexperience. Spending well over$150,000 on clothes for herself, her husband and children speaks to her judgement. Especially when she was a Maverick against this type of fiscal abuse and the economy being in the toilet.

She shunned several prominent Republicans at a rallies because her social views differed from theirs. She was a poor choice, no doubt about it.

An "Elitist" or "Wasilla hillbilly" take your choice. She is everthing the Republican Party is not.

You can pretty much torch the experience argument.

Let me rephrase then " What were John McCain's Messages?"

I know you are having a difficult time with this. Singular vs Plural. Voter Perceptions. Hope.

Again, I feel you do not know and it become more obvious everytime you type.

I am having a very hard time. I have no earthly idea what the candidate I voted for was selling. That's how I roll.

You've got one up on me.

PS. You might read up a bit, because I stay reasonably apprised of what's going on around me.

Hey did ya know UT is looking for a new coach?

can you provide a source about the continent point? if not throw it out the window.

Hillbilly? if more hillbillies looked like her i'd be a male whore. her views are what conservatives are about.

being president elect means not squat, has he officially worked on the nations problems now that he is the elect and the experience argument is still valid.

It got him beaten by the most liberal human to grace our Senate . . . .

You seem to think that this is universally accepted as a bad thing, subjecting one to unanimous condemnation.

I can understand- conservatives scare me a lot. But I do realize not everyone feels that way, and many people are proud to wear that label. Any chance of extending the same understanding to us liberals?

There is no doubt about one thing is that we both wanted McCain in the WH. It didn't happen and President elect Obama has a shot to fix it. Watch him like a hawk and because this nation is more centered than it has ever been he will have to go there. The liberals and the conservatives will become extinct.

We may differ on Palin. I am not sure, but I know she was not the answer.

My dream would have been to put John MCCain in the WH in 2000.

With that said, we would not have been in the mess we are in today. I truly believe he would have started and ended the war in Afganistan two years ago. Iraq would have been dealt with differently and without the commitment of the total force.

I would say that being too extreme either way is a bad thing and should be subject to unanimous condemnation.

I'm not putting it out there as a bad thing, though it is to me.

I'm putting it out there as typically unelectable. I believe it took some special circumstances to get a guy that openly liberal and that inexperienced into the White House.

the overwhelming majority of americans are not as liberal as obama

O'Reilly Factor last night. I watch him daily.

The E&P Pub: Fox News: Palin Thought Africa Was a Country, Not a Continent

Read the article.

The Washington Monthly

Fiscal conservative. Yea right.

Highlights: Newsweek's Special Election Project | Newsweek Politics: Campaign 2008 | Newsweek.com

Just a few and there are more to come.

So that I can get the record straight on your feelings for Palin as a VP. Her looks and experience in bed makes her qualified to be VP and conservative.

Not having any General 5th grade Civics knowledge makes her more experienced than BO because ????? NAFTA, Continents of the world and Exceptionalism are not important.

The list will grow I am sure.

I suggest you move to Alaska. Your qualifications for VP are amusing. Your Bedtime thoughts does not equal conservatism nor does it qualify a VP for office.

Let's hire her to Replace CPF. She is more qualified to coach here than to be VP. Her knowledge of both jobs is about equal.

The Fox Website has a lot of information about this. Go to Newsweek or Time. You Tube will begin to fill up also.

If you guys will agree that Palin is stupid, I will agree that Obama is the most liberal person ever to step foot in office.

Agreed?

why would we need your agreement to validate that Obama is the most liberal?

Obama actually might not be more liberal than FDR.
