Apparently, you didn't read the entire post. A leaner is nowhere near as tough as a fade away because you are going TOWARDS the basket. Have you ever shot either one of those type shots? Have you ever shot either in a real, competetive game? Ever made them in a real, competitive game? If your answers are YES, then you know what I say is true
Actually, it depends on the shot and angle and depends on if you can use the square. Nowitzki and lofton would take the fade everytime because its easier to have a consistent release and get proper arc on the shot. Leaners require varied release points. And yes, I hit a ton of 3's when the line came out my Sr year.
