I'm trying to understand...who the hell has James Franklin ever beaten in his career? I think the guy is a loud mouth self promoter that gets a high amount of press because he's at Vanderbilt. He's not entirely special or great as a coach. If he ever beats some big boys other than the SEC bottom dwellers I'll be impressed. For all the press he gets here, I'd take many other coaches over Franklin...there are many that are just flat out better. I'll throw out one Jim Harbaugh...won at a more prestigious academic institution and is a great pro coach too. The Franklin hype is just bizarre.

Vandy has beat 4 SEC teams,should`ve won the SCar game(2 inexplicable ref mistakes cost them the game),and after Sat will have won more SEC games in 1 year than Dools in 3!!!AT VANDY!! We need a young,charismatic coach. We need a coach to self-promote and bring excitment back to Kville. Look at his results in 2 years at Vandy. Give him 3 at UT and we`ll be Nat. Champs! Go Vols!!
