We're doomed. Doomed I say.

Joe, this is a perfect reason for you to eschew any savings and buy more meth. Perfect I say.

ah, another self righteous bloviating post from big

Uh, you might brush up on the actual meanings of self-righteous and bloviating, because the way you used them looks idiotic. Or, am I just now picking up on the intent of your posting here?

Sweet site.

You might look at some of the actual words used in the article and peruse some of the comments under it. FYI, they were advertising MREs at the top of my page.

And aluminum foil for everyday use, while dumping savings to buy silver.

The govt will confiscate your gold and silver and pay you pennies on the dollar for it. Don’t forget, starting next year if you buy 600 or more dollars of gold and silver, a 1099 will be sent to the Feds so they can track your ownership.

See, now I'm confused. Why would I cash out my retirement to buy silver if the government is going to come confiscate it?

Many of the "Survivalist World Collapse Preparation Kit" type items are actually pretty handy. I wouldn't mind having a decked out EMT type kit.

However, I think I can pass on the MRE's, T Rats, and Radiation Protection Tablets.

I love my solar powered radio. Also has the ability to be "wound up" to run in the dark. Great for camping.
How is the AM reception? I can't seem to find a radio that gets AM worth a ****.

I'm thinking of hunting for a vintage 1985 ghetto blaster, those things could pull in a good signal.

I have a box of Ramen. I'm good.

Did you buy it with cash while wearing something to obscure your face from the recognition software? If not, don't bet on having it for long.

AM reception is kinda lacking but mine's older. I probably need to upgrade.

I've still got one of those things somewhere. The damn things uses 8 D-Cells or some such nonsense though. It would certainly crank the tunes however.
