A major success if we have no more than one loss. A failure if we get beat by KY, SC, Missouri or Vanderbilt.

This! I’ll add, I want a competitive game against UGA even if it’s a loss.

That being said, the one game I’m worried about is this weekend.

Would you rather be 11-1 losing by 10 points or so to UGA. With NO shot at winning the SEC championship and have to wait to see if they get in by watching championship Saturday and hope the votes go our way

OR……..

lose to Kentucky BUT beat UGA AND play in the SEC championship BUT have to play Alabama in a neutral site. But if we lose that game we are OUT of the BCS title thing…and Saban with a chance to knock us out of the playoffs and revenge???
Call me crazy but I’m a glutton for punishment just want to see Tennessee at 100% full strength and to see if Huepel against Saban again

We broke Bama's 15 year winning streak. Success is already achieved. Going in I thought 9-3 would be a great regular season and I still do. Even though we'd have to be upset at this point to make it there. If you told me 9-3 and a win over Alabama, I'd have been over the moon. Moving the goal posts from preseason expectations to define success seems unfair to me. You're penalizing Heupel for exceeding expectations if you now say 11-1 is the expectation.

I don’t think you grasp the concept of the word “ideal”.
Ideal would be perfection at this point.
10-11 wins minimum at this point is a success in my mind. less than 10 means we drop 3 of 5 and that’s a complete failure.

I meant it in the sense of we should beat Kentucky but whether we technically should beat UGA is debatable. Obviously I want to win every game.

Losing by half a hundred and giving up 700 yards all the while losing are heisman front runner and all world teammate hooker.

But I think losing to Vandy would almost erase almost ALL good things we have done, right? Going 9-3 after being 8-0 is what the story line is going to be all about.
