Dobbs has done okay. I was hoping he would lead the team to a lot of victories and have his chance to shine.

You’d think the level of competition mattered or something. You are free to disagree, but Bryce Young is not a franchise qb in the NFL. He’s simply not good enough.

The subject was never about him being a franchise QB. Quick lesson. SF loses some of their key starters, and lose 2 games in a row. Most of their cap money is spent on 1st stringers. Today's NFL is a product of free agency and a salary cap. Geared towards parity. The NFL is the best of the best. Ownership and franchise management have EVERYTHING to do with a team's success. A few weeks of the NFL season, we see the worst in the league hand one of the best their ass. There's a reason

The subject was Bryce Young being “hot garbage”. The parity of the league or how a nfl team would fare against a college team are totally irrelevant. You think he’s actually a good qb? Because I think he’s a backup at best and wouldn’t be shocked if he only sticks around for a few years by virtue of having been a 1st round draft pick.

Yeah, he could be. His ceiling is exponentially higher than Dobbs'

What do you base that on? He’s short and skinny and doesn’t really see the field at a high level. He doesn’t have an elite arm. Other than production in college where his teammates were elite relative to their opponents, what do you base that “high ceiling” on?
