Thoughts on Kentucky

Can't go to monitor to review shot clock violation in UK game. Bad break for Vandy. Bad break!

Really? Since when? I had no idea that couldn't be reviewed.

That game was much closer than it ever should've been. A young team about coughed it up and got a huge call on the road. Listening to the Vandy fans piss and moan about it is going to be some good comedy tomorrow though. Heh.

Just because the shot clock says zero, doesn't mean it's expired. 0.9, 0.8, etc. Shot left his hand before the horn. Call was correct.

Vanderbilt got completely hosed.

UK might struggle to make the tournament in a weak SEC. It looks like they'll struggle on the road against bad teams. The Maryland win is their best OOC win, and that's pretty sad. They need a win or two against Missouri and Florida, and I don't think they're capable of that right now.

Jonboy from Lexington, Ky...you didn't want Ky to lose did ya? Heh.
I pray they lose every single game. :) Just can't let my wife know that.

All I can say is we better soak it up this year because they could very well go undefeated with the group they have coming in next year.

I was pondering that as well. Even though the clock hits zero, one more second still has to expire before the actual horn goes off. Just like the last few seconds of a game, there are tenths of a second showing (0.9, 0.8). Those digits just aren't available on the shot clock.

This seems to be what happened. I'm sure somebody will verify it, either way.
