Poythress looks either damn good at moments, or terrible, with no in between. That put bank dunk was one of the better plays I've seen so far this year.

There are times he tries to do too much (the two blocks by Kelly, and the charge he committed putting the ball on the floor for example). Those are freshman mistakes.

He is the best player on this UK team.

In the long-term, maybe. But based off of practice reports last year, to call it a "huge drop-off" is certainly premature based on one game and likely sensationalized. A full season may bare it out to be true, but early on last season, there were times Teague looked awful.

Pols on cant stay in front of anyone on defense. No depth for UK is showing up and will continue all year in the 2nd half

Don't disagree if you're talking about Rose, Evans, or Wall. Teague was very average by Cal standards until the last part of the season last year. He really stepped up his game in February and March going into the tourney.

Teague was one of the best point guards in the country by February. He struggled early, but his talent came through. Harrow just isn't the same type of talent.

All things being equal, Polson shouldn't play more than 5 minutes on any night. I'll concede, UK's depth is not near what it has been in the past. It will likely cost them some games this year.
