She managed a smile after I gave her flowers and balloon. They're on top of everything, keeping a check on her legs for clots, doing an ultrasound on her heart now for infection. Giving her antibiotics, pain meds, and keeping her clean. She was sobbing earlier afraid the Dr in California wouldn't do it now, but we talked to him, and he said what Volly did. If anything, this shows how much she needs it, to start flushing as soon as she feels like it. Just keep praying for her.

I will say what I did on Facebook. I've got a ton of better pictures, but this is who I'm in love with. The woman that has everything against her, but never stops fighting. No matter how bad it gets, how she feels, or how she looks, she fights, and I love her for it.

Well, she looks pretty damn good for what she’s been through. But she always does.

She didn't feel like eating it all, but I got us an ice cream, played "endless love", and just kinda rocked her trying to dance. I've held it together pretty good, but I lost it doing that. In no way was expecting to, just trying to do something sweet. It all just kinda hit me while holding her, and listening to our song. She cried, I cried, ironically her in this shape, she ends up comforting me.IMG_20231004_183945986.jpg

I'm not a religious guy Joe. But when I do go to the man upstairs it's always for something I don't think we mere mortals can grasp or understand. The conversations we have had about you and Tiff are some of the best. I've never met you guys, but I hope someday we meet. Until then, I'll continue to talk to the man upstairs. God bless ya'll.

Hey, I know you guys know me enough to know I'm not saying this as a flex. I had a friend that just messaged me, last time we talked about religion he said he was atheist. His words, "I can't believe I'm saying this, but I've always respected you for the man you are. Keep leaning on your faith in Jesus Christ, and he'll get you through this. If we can help in any way, just let us know". I got chills reading this from him. Wish I could share on Facebook, but he's on mine, and don't want to put him in a spot. I've failed a lot, but at some point I must've shown him that I believe in what I say, and it had an impact.

Bp has been a little low, heart rate a little high, but they said it's her body fighting the infection. Dr just came in, and said it's still in her blood, so they're going to continue with the two IV antibiotics. Explains why she still feels like crap, and numbers fluctuating. She's in good spirits though.
