You’re a good man Joe. You guys are going through a very difficult time and it sure looks like you’re doing a great job taking care of her. Bless you, Tiffany and your familyBlood work and urine cultures are clear, they're giving her treatment, making sure antibiotics are being delivered to the house, and we're busting out of here!
There’s nothing like being back home, and clean, and in your own bed. Happy prayers for a long, restorative sleep.Yes. She's preparing to get clean. We have a shower seat, but can't find the screws. I'm going to get some tomorrow, but have a small folding fishing chair we're going to use tonight. Gonna get her cleaned up, and hopefully she gets a good night's sleep here.
That was pretty hard. She broke down in the shower sobbing, saying she can't do this. It's just rough, can't get her port wet, or where the tubes go in her back. Got sticky all over her from the bandages and leads for the monitors at the hospital. I get it, nothing I could do but hold her for a minute, and tell her at least she's here to do it. Just keep fighting.

It's exhausting for her, I'm sure. She's dealt with stuff for sooo long. Gah. Hope she got some rest last night. That was pretty hard. She broke down in the shower sobbing, saying she can't do this. She did, and we've been doing her exercises in between me working on dinner. I talked to her sister, and she's going to come stay when I'm working until she gets her full strength back. Whole lot different emotionally this time, I guess because it was worse, I'm not sure. She's talking about it a lot, still asking questions, but apologizing for asking. I don't her she's got nothing to apologize for. I think it's because this time left some after effects that's going to last a bit, hopefully she'll get better emotionally as she gets better physically. It's exhausting for her, I'm sure. Not to mention the fact that she has something huge on the horizon. That wasn't a thing the last time. That adds a whole other emotional level. So much more to think about. She did, and we've been doing her exercises in between me working on dinner.
