Tiffany was actually going to try to go to church this morning, but had an issue with one of the bags from her tubes. It got a hole, kinda upset her because of the leak. My fixing skills kicked in, cause we have to wait for a new bag, Ziploc and tape is working 🤣

Me too. We're about to eat a bite, then we're going to try going outside to walk on our little road. She's kinda embarrassed with the walker, but she knows she's gotta work on getting her strength back. Walking around here just doesn't have enough room.

With my first knee, I walked all over the neighborhood with mine. It's about her, not everybody else.

Get you a set of crutches and the girls a walker or wheelchair.

That's what I've told her during the Drs visits with it, cause she was bothered by people looking at her. I told her crap on anybody that would do it making fun. I don't think people were, more self conscious on her part, but I get it.

tl;dr
I had to have a walker for a couple of weeks after my heart attack before I got my strength back.
Dad's been on one for about a year and a half (a walker). He's that way about being sensitive when people see him that way. I didn't care. We loaded it into the car, and I used it when I needed it.
I've had steel rods in my right leg since a bad car wreck in 84 and extensive kneecap damage (always refused surgery on the knee), and sometimes the weather causes arthritis and I use a shillelagh because I get "numb spells" in my right leg and have for almost 40 years. I bought that shillelagh from (of all places) an old Thompson's Cigar Company catalog in the 80s--still using it. Dad never would use a cane either.
I get what you're saying 100 percent.

When I was on a walker when I got out of the hospital I would just grin like a sheeyat eating dog at anyone looking at me. 😃

I know she’s too kind but if that was a picture of me my right hand would be covering up what I thought of you pushing me to walk and then taking pictures 😉
