Praying Joe for Tiffany and you all for things to go well tomorrow and for the Lord to wrap his arms around all of you and to give you all strengthWe have to go get those tubes changed tomorrow. It's got me stressed, and she's nervous, you guys be praying for her. It's what set off the septic shock, but she's on antibiotics this time. Just say a prayer it goes well.
I'm praying as earnest as I know how for you and your family. Especially TiffanyUpdate. Dr called on our way to the procedure with some not good news. Her urine cultures had grown a very rare and deadly bacteria, and she told her not to do the procedure until they can get rid of it. They're adding another antibiotic, so pray she can kick this stuff.

Thank goodness they didn't find out about the infection during or after the procedure! She was all discouraged, but I was able to change her mood fairly easily. All it took was handing her the receipt from Sam's. I wouldn't go as far as saying it cheered her up, but it definitely got her mind off of infection. On the bright side, I won't have to buy toilet paper, cooking oil, deodorant, cleaning supplies, and several other things for probably more than a year
.
The Switch will get her mind off of the other things fOsho.Had a visit with the infectious disease Dr today. They have her rescheduled for the tube exchange next Friday, but she said we'd play it by ear. We go back to her Tuesday, that'll be 6 days of this extra antibiotic for the bacteria that's really bad. She said we'd do cultures that day, and she'd let her know before Friday if we should proceed. She was feeling halfway decent, so we stopped at a couple of stores that were together. She got to do some Christmas shopping for the kids, and that made her really happy. She kinda didn't want to, because of having to use her walker, but I talked her into it, and she was glad. I went this morning and spent my overtime on something for her for Christmas. I've bought her jewelry, clothes, etc before, so I did something different. Our daughter took the Nintendo switch to her apartment, and Tiffany loved that thing. She loves games, played that a lot, and stuff on her phone. I guess it helps her stress, and she just enjoys it, but I got her a Nintendo switch for her. She's talked about missing the other one, and it'll surprise her. I have her convinced I'm getting her a purse, so it'll surprise her.
Is she having any side effects from the new antibiotic?Had a visit with the infectious disease Dr today. They have her rescheduled for the tube exchange next Friday, but she said we'd play it by ear. Not so far, they had it called in as soon as we got the call yesterday, so she started it then. She's definitely a fighter, I can't remember if I said it here, but I told a friend recently that I'd hate to fight her to the death. I'm stronger, but I'd end up dead firstIs she having any side effects from the new antibiotic?
She's a true warrior, although I know she doesn't see it or believe it.
Last the infection we so bad it started everything that happened, right? Does that mean the odds of it happening are less since she's been on this other antibiotic too?Oh yeah, if nothing comes back from her cultures today, we'll be doing the tubes Friday. I want her to be clear, but I dread this, I don't want to spend Christmas in the hospital. I'm just really worried after last time.
Hopefully. She wasn't on anything last time, she's on two antibiotics right now, so hopefully she'll be okay. I'm just going worry until it's over, I still have it in my head watching her last time.Last the infection we so bad it started everything that happened, right? Stop apologizing, we are here to listen to you.I appreciate you guys, I do. My nerves are shot right now. I was gonna work over last night, but thought I better spend time with her just in case. I get angry at myself for thinking like that, I do, but I can't help it. Thoughts of how bad it'd be if something happened right at Christmas, and how it'd effect the kids for the rest of their lives. Me also, but more worried about them. The biggest part of me wants them to call tomorrow and say to wait, but I understand those tubes need changed, because they cause bacteria and infection after so long. It's just a messed up situation, and I wish I could switch with her. Sorry, just ranting, can't really say all that to her, or anyone else.
