Yep. 4th may sound like not much, but they had to qualify at regional championship, and make it to get there. First state ribbon for her, cut off is actually 4th place. I'll say this though, swimming is a beast of a sport. I got nothing but respect for those who do it, even kids who don't go to state.

Got taped up the other day, wish I'd found the orange frog tape sooner . God willing, my buddy is coming Monday to replace the rest of the lights/ fixtures. I may paint some then, if not hopefully get it painted Tuesday. I pressure washed the house today, had got the old shutters off the other day, so ready to put on the new ones soon. I'm almost done inside! Only thing I'll lack is painting the garage, and back deck.

Me and my dad had lunch last week and we were talking about all the wild food we used to hunt and eat when we I was growing up. We both agreed my mom's quail was our favorite. It was simple salt and pepper seasoned flour and pan fried.

Remember me mentioning Red clay? He was an English setter that was an outstanding bird dog. Memories...
