Tiffany's Thread (updates and prayers, and a place where she can smack Joe in public when he needs it :)

I wish I could see it IRL. I don't trust the color display on screens. Who sells it?

I'm always looking for a warm light-caramel color, but they keep going green or grey or (arrgh) pink IRL.
Lowes. There's the code for it, if you want to ask them for a sample, or get a quart to try or something. 1000001036.jpg

Down to tge living room. Takes a while painting around counters, windows, doors, racks in the laundry room, etc. 2 coats to be sure, and I do gotta finish the hinges on the cabinets at some point

Golden Gate.

"There are a couple of misconceptions about how often the Bridge is painted. Some say once every seven years, others say from end to end each year. The truth is that the Bridge is painted continuously."
Yep....by the time I get done on the inside....then it's time for my decks to be painted again on the outside...so it is kind of never ending....

I have my next overtime project (which they texted wanting me to work all weekend. Not tonight, but I will tomorrow at least), just trying to decide on which one, and not the ottoman for either. Top is a couple hundred more, but larger. Prices aside, the bottom one is way more comfortable, and I don't want to eat up the whole living room. We currently don't have a couch, just our recliners. Tiffany likes the top color better, and I can work all I want to get it, but I'm about comfortable. We've looked around at several places, way more expensive, but these 2 at Big lots is both our favorites. So, opinions?

Which of the cushions could you fit under and hide the easiest?

I'd go with comfort, and manageable size. You guys aren't that far away from being empty nesters, and that top one looks like you're set up for some monster slumber party. Also, the fabric on that looks prone to quickly becoming what my family elegantly called "butt-sprung." (Can't tell, of course, the other could be just the same.)

Are there any side pieces that go with the bottom one, or a coordinating loveseat or oversized armchair? Something to reduce the acres of grey part, but still have plenty of room when the girls (and all their boyfriends!) come home.

That's one of the reasons we like the bottom, besides comfort, we don't want too much, cause we don't need it. I'm not sure about the side pieces
