Tiger has another cub..

I wasn't being a smart ass. You called it a coin toss, which said to me that you view it as a 50-50 proposition. I don't think the odds are anywhere near that close. Probably more like 90-10.

Under Butch, with that classic swing, he drove it well. With this Haney thing, steep follow through and hook, I just don't think he's ever going to get there. Hookin' Hank just doesn't seem to be the guy. Butch had Tiger's swing on the money and it was beautiful. Now, his routine is hideous as is much of the swing.

What? He loses it right a hell of lot more than left because he squats on it. Haney has worked on rounding his swing out more than steepening it. Keeping him tall through impact so that he doesn't have to violently torque his left leg to clear his hips.

he loses it right because he gets it stuck by squatting, producing the high right flamer he hates. Regardless, Haney is known to the golf world as Dr. Hook and he has been moving that way with Tiger. The big ugly overpronounced vertical finish that he has Tiger go through in his routine has nothing to do with the roundness of Tiger's swing, it's about the plane of his swing.

Now we are just arguing the same point. When I say rounding his swing, I am referring to his swing plane. Which is not steeper now that he is with Hank, it is more around his body and flatter

promoting a hook. Regardless, the finish is dramatically higher and more vertical. The backswing might be a bit flatter because he doesn't take it outside like Butch had him, Norman and Scott doing, but it's not much flatter back there. He gets it pretty much straight over that back shoulder and now has a longer swing with a big high (and ugly) finish.

I see what you are saying. Well maybe I don't because I high finish promotes a cut, but I learned long not to question the man.
