How in hell do you interpret that sentence to mean it matters to him? I wonder about things that don't matter to me. I wonder why you are so negatively critical time after time, but you don't matter to me.

No, that's how basketball was 20 years ago. Now we DO measure partly by SEC performance because it's a tough league to win.

That's fine but are we measuring all our coaches at UT by how they do in the NCAA and football bowl games? Have to measure them all the same, I would think.

It matters enough for him to wonder what they were saying and he even took the time to write about it. He cares.

So I'm critical. Big deal. I enjoy pointing it out when folks are illogical. I'd prefer to have a verbal duel with someone rather than to read something that agrees 100% with my viewpoint. What can I learn from that? If being badmouthed bothered me I certainly wouldn't participate here. I do find the vols plight to be interesting with the politics, the aged fan base, the loss of Pat, Holly's challenges, the possible end of a dynasty or perhaps a resurgence. How will recruiting proceed. Lots of interesting stuff there to follow into the future.
