Titans Owner Bud Adams wants Peyton Manning

Well then. RT @PriscoCBS: The word I hear tonight from one league exec is he thinks Manning, Wayne and Clark all might be going to Denver

Wherever PM goes, I suspect it's a package deal. He'd definately take less money to have those guys come along.

I'm sure this guy is just guessing anyway. Denver may end up being the place, but I highly doubt anyone without the last name Manning knows which way he is leaning. Peyton seems to be smart enough to hear all of his offers before making a decision anyway. The Broncos are like 48 million under the cap though--that's going to be tough to beat.

Exactly. He hasn't decided. When he does, we'll all know. The rest is speculation.

He finished up his Miami meeting tonight, Titans will be getting his last visit. That has to be a big plus in our favor.

Luckily, the Titans also have the best OL of the teams courting him as well.

Honestly outside of Fitz in Arizona, the Titans have the most weapons on offense out of the teams in the running for him. Our offense was going to be great without him but adding a possibly healthy Manning it turns into a scary good O. We probably have the worst defense our of the other teams though.

If I was Peyton I'd really come here; our o-line will keep him up and healthy, a great young receiving corp (add in Wayne too), Jared Cook at TE, and CJ2K in the backfield why wouldn't he come here?

And the Cards gave up more sacks than any other team last year. No way he goes there.

Agreed on all parts. Maybe not the worst defense though.

Tennessee has an injured WR, a RB that doesn't care because he's gotten paid and a bad interior OL. There's on plus in Jared Cook.

If Britt is 100% when he comes back, if Chris Johnson cares and if the guards get shored up, the Titans have a pretty good O.

That's a lot of ifs.

The guards could pass block last year, they just sucked in the running game. Getting back to the point, I have a feeling this going to happen.

well, what happened to Orlovsky last year was that he beat the Titans.

Please, if you're going to give the credit to the offense that day, then it needs to go to Donald Brown.

If you want to give orlovsky's play the credit for a win, then probably look to the second game against Houston.

The oline is very overrated in his decision. The colts oline always looked great because Peyton got rid of the ball so quick and hardly ever took a sack.

Very true. It was only when opposing teams started lifting and tossing PM's guards into the pocket that the true weakness of that line became evident.

If you have a travel squad reciever, he could be the next Blair White... and take one who's legitimately worth the minimum salary and PM could have him leading the league in recieving yards halfway through the season (the whole season barring the injury prone guy, Austin Collie who PM made famous in Indy).

Seriously, it would be awesome to see Peyton playing with full compliment of NFL players on his team.

If he was sold on Denver he would be signing tomorrow JMO. What I'm afraid could happen us we miss on Mario and then it turns we don't get Peyton either.

That's exactly what im concerned about as well. Or, that we get Peyton, and he plays long enough that Locker leaves without ever starting for us, and turns into a beast for some other team.

Defense among the 4 teams is a wash. Titans def was every bit as good as the other 3. In terms of pass blocking, titans clearly the best. Wr corp, obviously ariz has Fitz, but after that a wash and titans might have the best all around of the remaining 3. Plus Archie played with titans coach and team president and Palmer was Eli's oc for awhile. I still don't think he ends up a Titan, but we are as "close" to a playoff team as Miami, Denver or Arizona.

By the time the ball is kicked off, he'll want to beat Indy worse than any other opponent he plays. That'd be the general sentiment for these other guys as well.

Pretty rotten deal the new GM and owner is handing the city and the franchise.

PM could beat what's left in Indy if he had to do it with Vandy's team.

Do the Titans need a center and WR... possibly a TE... in addition to a QB and DE... all are pro-bowlers looking for work?

Wrong, Peyton does not have any ill feelings towards the team.

You do realize that Grigson had no say in Peyton right?

No hard feelings? Yeah right. Building a franchise almost single handily and being shown the door after 14 years of service so they can draft your replacement. I think he may be just a little bit upset. He's just a professional and wouldn't state that publicly.
