Titans Owner Bud Adams wants Peyton Manning

@AlbertBreer Titans group that will meeting with Peyton Manning will be headed up by head coach Mike Munchak and offensive coordinator Chris Palmer. ...

@AlbertBreer ... Munchak's a very good recruiter -- Big reason Hasselbeck signed. And Palmer coached Eli in New York from 2007-09.

The biggest advantage the Broncos have over everyone else, beside cap room, is the weak AFC West division.

The AFC South isn't that hard either. The Texans so far are just a one hit wonder, plus they are self-destructing on their offensive line. I don't know why everyone is saying the Titans are not a viable option for Peyton.

IMO, Manning has already chosen his team. Just working the detail with whoever that might be.

Curveball:

@terrymc13 NFL Network reporting that #Titans will go to Peyton to meet, with Mike Munchak and others traveling to Indianapolis.

This feels like Lebron now.

In Indianapolis? Curious.

I don't know how truthful that is but I saw it posted on another message board. It kinda makes sense though, Munchak and Palmer are both in Indy and it was reported we were bringing him in today to help recruit Peyton. I'm sure he'd want to meet the HC and OC on his visit and they are in Indy today.

@AlbertBreer Just to clear this up (not a big deal) ... Reporting that Palmer/Munchak will meet with Titans today or tomorrow. Location not clear.

The latest in the PM sweepstakes......

Titans coach, Mike Muchak just picked free agent guard, Steve Hutchinson up at the airport in Nashville. They are meeting Bud Adams and will fly in his proivate jet to Raleigh, NC, where is it is being speculated that they will speak to Peyton Manning.

There is growing speculation that Mario Williams may also be involved in these meetings. All are Tom Condon clients.

Talk about filling some needs quickly with some big time talent......

This is all being done rather quickly, race for the 4pm deadline, I suppose. I think we'll know something be this evening.

We become such a huge threat if we can get Peyton. A bigger threat with Hutchinson. If Mario comes as well... borderline favorite.

These 3 would address everything. A legit passing game. Better blocking. More pressure/turnovers.

Seriously doubt this happens but fun to think about. I'm just ready to move onto Locker rather than chase the playoffs with Hasselbeck. Feel like we could chase a Super Bowl with Peyton. That's how much I believe he improves our chances if we were to sign him.

If the team plas above average in the playoffs, he might be able to do the rest. Hasselbeck will always need the running game or defense to help him out to advance in the playoffs. Peyton can carry the load and our team(CJ and defense) could carry him. He makes us a legit threat. Hasselbeck... probably not. Ready to rebuild with Locker or bring in Peyton. I'm not high on Hasselbeck for two more years with Peyton as a potential option.
