'24 TN DB Boo Carter (Tennessee)

Really been impressed w/ Boo crashing the line getting to the runner before he gets 2 yards past the line of scrimmage from safety spot. A handful of good tackles & nearly a pick in the endzone earlier.

I just hope karma ends up costing him when the same rules allow the players to jump in the portal. Love to see a bunch of his better performing newbies get legally poached by some sweet and legal NIL deals. I also hope he slashes a few more of guys he brings in to reinforce that he was and will be legally ruthless and there is no reason for a player at his school to factor in any level of trust in their top man. Some serious what goes around comes around.

That is if they truly believe he will be around long enough or legally move up the coaching ladder. I truly believe CU will get legally Kiffined. Love to see some serious mattress fires in Boulder.
I don't get it. You think Deion is a dirtbag (not sure I disagree), so you can't wait for him to succeed so you can enjoy the suffering of his victims?

That's an odd take.

I actually think he is pretty genuine, he just is who is he is. Whether who he is bothers you is another discussion. Jmo.
I heard him say in an interview that "Prime Time" is a persona that he developed and learned to put on for competitiveness. He said that it took/takes on a life of its own, almost like alternate personality.

He is a lot of things, but by his own words, "genuine" probably isn't one of them.

ETA: Here's an article where Deion talks a little more around the subject.

Now, Sanders, in his role as "Coach Prime," finds himself in a position to mentor young athletes who also have public personalities to cultivate.

"I built that character, and the thing about that character is ...you gotta let that other person breathe," Sanders said. "Because if you don't give that other person equality, something's going to suffer.

"You started loving Prime and you forgot all about Deion, and now I've started to suppress Deion and give you Prime."

Sounds like he has developed borderline personality disorder from the decades of turning a persona on and off for financial gain. But in any case, even Deion proudly discusses the fact that he is anything but genuine, and he's there to teach young men how not to be either.

I wouldn’t let my son spend 3-4 years with that self absorbed idiot.
