I thought the Deion Sanders fan club said he was gonna flip to Colorado?

Not remotely in said fan club, but I was feeling glum about that visit. Same with Gage Ginther. Those are two of our most solid recruits, so if they flipped I’d be in new territory confidence wise.

I’ve shared this theory before but interested in your thoughts…

Initially I also felt he’d be gone in a heartbeat for greener pastures.

But I’ve pondered this…

1.) he ain’t going back to FSU he doesn’t even call it is Alma mater.

2.) if there was anyone I’ve seen who’d want to take a program with no history and make their entire history one coach, it would be him.

I wonder if CO is willing to make him top notch paid if he’d stay. Particularly if he sensed he could recruit awesome to any place.

Thoughts?

Does Co have the money to compete with an LSU level program wanting him? Not saying they type program would.

I do think he could build up Colorado to be a powerful program. However I don’t think they’ll be able to outbid the major programs for his services. Let’s just hope he stays out of the SEC, that Florida job may be open in a year or two.

It’s not that I don’t like him. I just don’t think he is that vital to our class. I believe if he were to flip (not saying he will) that we could replace him. Losing Boo is a whole different situation. He is vital to the class.
