'24 TN DB Boo Carter (Tennessee)

Rather have him in the secondary.

He, Beasley, Matthews, Gibson and Slaughter would be mean. We need more help in the secondary then we do WR.

If we get Wingo and Matthews, those two along with Leacock will be deadly.
Maybe not, we will have a lot of returning production in the secondary and likely not as much at WR and RB. They’re still pushing hard for Bates and DeMello Jones too. Our 2024 secondary is slated to be
CB: Gibson, Matthews, Beasley, Harrison, and Rucker (GJL, Slaughter, and Hadden COVID year)
Star: Conyer and Goree and (McDonald and Turnage COVID year)
Safety: Charles, Turrentine, Thomas, Slaughter, and Luttrell (Walker COVID year)
That doesn’t even factor in the possibility of Bates and DeMello Jones

I disagree…Carter is the ideal slot WR in my opinion

Chattanooga athlete Boo Carter will come off the board with his commitment on Saturday at the 40/40 club in New York City. Michigan made a hard run at Carter but barring a last minute change, we expect the Vols to get good news tomorrow night. Carter has long been trending to Tennessee and has a phenomenal relationship with the staff, current players and several key prospects in the 2024 class.
