Never had been. Hope you never get Atlvoled!!!šŸ˜‚
please no.........
I only relay info, I'm not the source of anything.......:)

In all honesty, I hear stuff from a friend. I'm always cautious about saying anything, but it's just info that he tells me. He does say that a lot of recruits go 180* in a matter of hours.

They do! Thatā€™s why I donā€™t understand when others take it out on the one bringing the info. Please keep telling us anything you hear!!!

3 high schools in 3 years.
He might start in Knoxville but I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't end there.
I don't know about that. Unless he gets in some kind of trouble, I don't see him leaving Knoxville. This kid is an immediate impact player. Even if it's just on special teams as a return man, as a freshman. I also see him becoming a big time peer recruiter once he commits. If commits to the good guys.

The high school thing has a lot of context that needs to be acknowledged as @cncchris33 said. The family left CCS because of some disagreements that weren't entirely unfair. Then they went to Brainerd to team up with Martels and company, but he wouldn't have been eligible there for football so once they realized that, he had to leave and Bradley was in the mix before with Brainerd. I wouldn't look at the amount of schools as a negative in this situation

A great performance at the Spring game doesnā€™t always mean a player is going to be a stud (see Jack Jancek in 2021) but an underwhelming showing in a spring game for someone that isnā€™t a true freshman usually isnā€™t a good sign
Have you ever heard the phrase damned if you do and damned if you don't? And, you seem to have forgotten about Hendon Hooker who had a very mediocre Spring game when he was a junior here and somehow managed to play decent for us as a starter.

I agree usually, but this situation isn't like most of those. He screwed up at CCS, which could be a red flag if he didn't learn a lesson. Leaving CCS wasn't entirely his decision. The stop at Brainerd could have always been temporary just until his family could figure things out (logistically, financially, etc) after the abrupt departure from CCS.
Are you sure of what you posted concerning CCS? Not like you to post something youā€™re not 100% on. Only thing I recall was someone claiming to be a student at CCS sharing a bit of what was floating around within the students. Obviously the school would be completely ignorant if they publicized anything.

I don't know the actual specifics of what lead to his departure, no. Just a couple of things I've seen suggesting he made a "mistake". I won't repeat the rumors of what. I'm just saying a team's best player doesn't often leave his team the week of the state playoff quarterfinals entirely of his own volition.

Hooker also had just been on campus for 2-3 months and was learning a brand new system as were all the other players around him and him not being a live runner took arguably the best aspect of his game away from him. Webb and Nimrod on the other hand have been here over a year and are familiar with the system and outside of that great catch Webb made both were rather pedestrian

Webb had 3 catches for 50 yards and 1 TD.

That's not pedestrian

Correct. Wish some folks would give Milton that same benefit of the doubt. Unlike Hooker, he was not in Knoxville for the Spring. He arrived for fall practice and started Game 1. So basically, when he started against BG, he had as much practice under his belt at UT as Hooker had under his belt when he played in the spring game. Both looked like crap in those respective games. But Hooker got better with more reps. Milton has too. And he will be even better this fall.

Too many of our fans want to dwell on what Milton looked like vs. BG and Pitt in 2021 and just write him off. Those fans simply donā€™t get it.

My lord the man(Milton) is two years more mature in both athleticism and UT football IQ. Anyone who is on here saying he is the same player from two years ago with little system experience as you point out, will never change their opinion of him even if he wins the Heisman will say it was because of the ā€œSystemā€.
