Would've probably been around my time. Worked there working the numbers and getting stats to the press from like 4th grade to 9th grade. Took over completely in 5th or 6th when Jeremiah Jackson was the star MLB. Last year would've been the class of 2020 being seniors. Was doing that for the Colin Thurman, London Elrod, Kyrell Sanford, Fisher Perry years QB wise

Yeah told my son the year they lost to Farragut in the semi or quarter finals he needed to enjoy this because this does not happen every year. They should have won it all that year. Had Farragut beat but let them back in it in the second half. Maybe had some help from the refs but maybe I'm just biased.

I still think about that game. It was 35-14 at halftime. Got to 41-14 in the 3rd quarter. Farragut went on to win the state championship pretty comfortably that year after beating us in 2OT that year too. Cam Turner definitely got in during that 2nd OT tho. Tozer should've made that kick tho. That team was so good. All the young guys from that team became pretty good too

On a side note Jacob Warren was a junior there and had 55 receiving yards that game. How did I never know I saw Warren in high school lol. And Joe Doyle was their K/P. Warren caught the TD that tied the game in the 4th

They lost a lot on Offense, starting a new young QB. It will get ugly fast, but I appreciate your analysis, its fitting of most McMinn teams

McMinn never changes… been running wing T forever… I do hear this is a down year for them, not expected to be very good…

Gotcha. They should still slow the game down to an extent but yeah Boo might be coming out earlier than I originally thought then lol

27-14, I was wrong McMinn gotta a fight this year too. They controlled the ball about 5 minutes on their drive after a Rogers fumble
