That is technically true, however, he was on staff with this staff until late in the season, Then the departure happened. Heupel technically did not fire him, though, as it all stemmed back to the previous improprieties. He made it until the first of November, so that was hard to overcome.“Heupel didn't fire Abernathy. That departure had to do with actions done with the previous staff” -Hubbs
That seems to always be the assumption. Nothing wrong with being optimistic, but outside of Hooker, the portal thus far has taken much more than it's given.I love how people just think that’s so easy to do. If it’s so easy, then why haven’t we just loaded up on these better players?

This year - we'll need to merely match Evans and Baron just to break even. Maybe we do. Let's hope we do, because those positions need a LOT of help.
This is most definitely a loss but fortunately not a "big" loss and can be filled with present/future projects for Garner.
Didn’t contribute much down the stretch because of his attitude and work ethic. I get it with everything that happened with his dad but there was never good chemistry between this staff, Baron and his dad. Not going to rip the kid. I’ll leave it at that.

If true, will take dusting out those that mess with our present culture and locker room direction.
Tremblay/Terry were a clear upgrade over Emerson/Middleton and kept Solomon irrelevant. That seems to always be the assumption. Nothing wrong with being optimistic, but outside of Hooker, the portal thus far has taken much more than it's given.
