Probably because "does NOT help" is not a sufficient condition for being "a big loss".Idk why some people are acting like this isn’t a big loss. It certainly does NOT help.
-VQTyler Baron wasn’t a total surprise but he is one Tennessee would liked to have kept in the fold.
Baron has been back and forth over the last month. His father resigned his support staff post position in the Vols’ program back in November and Baron has struggled with his departure. Kentucky looks like the team most likely to land Baron while Texas A&M has also reached out. Baron told us on Thursday that there is a scenario where he ends up coming out of the portal and staying in Knoxville. We aren’t gonna close the door on a return as we think that path is a possibility. Nothing is final until he goes to class somewhere. Tennessee starts classes back on the 24th.
Abernathy and Garner got into it because Abernathy didn’t like how hard he was being on Baron, or something like that. Things escalated and Abernathy was let goIn Romper Room (the football forum), someone tried to lay this blame all on CJH's feet - but RC or someone said that Abernathy was let go by the UTAD over something that took place when Pruitt was coach. So it sounds like he was less than forthcoming about something in the investigation?
They can field NiL offers all day without going to the portal. Not in these days of free agency, some gonna test the market and hope to get paid but if they don’t get the offer their looking for they’ll stay
Probably not. I mean, geez, if you can start as a true freshman at UT on the DL and you don't just kill it off the bat, you must be worthlessWere you impressed with Tillman or Warrior their first couple of years?

I've never seen so much butthurt bad takes on a kid that just finished his true SO season and had a covid year of Pruitt's non-development and then changed staffs.
Yep. Most of the players seem to love the atmosphere and culture and Heupel and what’s going on in Knoxville now,I'm all for Baron staying but I want him bought in 100%. If he's not he needs to go.
It's the old one bad apple thing. Not saying he is but if he's not 100% he can be an issue with the ones that are.Yep. Most of the players seem to love the atmosphere and culture and Heupel and what’s going on in Knoxville now,
And if that and being coached by one of the best DLine coaches in football isn’t good enough for him then , he needs to go
Then he is just another idiot helicopter parent. I always told my sons coaches to light him up if he was half-assing it, and I always told him to shut up and listen...it was their job to make him better.Abernathy and Garner got into it because Abernathy didn’t like how hard he was being on Baron, or something like that.
