I agree with all of this. It's also important to note that our staff doesn't have a bowl game to prepare for. It's nothing but recruiting 24/7 for the next 2+ months. That's going to show up in the final rankings.
We'll take another WR. mrorange is right, Bailey and Freeze is going to send a message to the recruits and an elite WR like Hazelwood who's looking around is very possible to jump in the boat. Why would he not?I think we really need Gray he is in my top five of wants. Wright, Pappoe, Marshall, Gray, Norton and another DL which I think should be a juco. Not gonna sweat it if we don't take another WR.

I'm not buying Bailey's tweet last night. I still think he ends in '19 class. Hubbs wouldn't have put that out there otherwise, IMO.Depends on what he is looking for and where he is leaning. Freeze may be too late in the game for him and Bailey is a '20 guy who probably won't pull the elite WRs till '20. Personally I'm happy with Brown if we wind up taking him.
Then why keep it under wraps? What do we gain from that?
not sure i like that. but it seems like it is probably more realistic now than i thought two weeks ago. That's why I said after Vandy I felt like Pruitt didn't want to go to a crap bowl game. He wanted to wash the season off of him and this team, weed out the cancers and RECRUIT.
i would think if you wanted to really close the deal on some offensive prospects in this class and he was going to reclassify, you'd be up front about it.Bailey was probably just tired of being hounded about it. And I'm sure it doesn't hurt our staffs feelings if other teams don't recruit him as hard. If other schools know he's going to be in '19 class plenty of top coaches out there are going to put the full court press on him this spring. Just a thought, maybe its not a big deal.

i think it actually makes more sense that he sticks in the 20 class and we get a year of peer recruiting with him. as good as the 19 class can/will be...............
i really think the 20 class with him as a cornerstone has a chance to be really special. for that reason, i acutally hope the reclassifying deal is put to bed.
Even if Bailey reclassifies he'd still be in the 2020 class. Would wait to sign the papers until that deadline passes. I personally don't see it, and don't even want it. I want Bailey down the road when the rest of the team has the talent to make full use of his potential.I'm not buying Bailey's tweet last night. I still think he ends in '19 class.
