Other targets are a bigger deal but the staff is still trying hard here and have for a while so clearly they think he’s a pretty big deal himself.
If the coaches are going to keep recruiting him just as hard why should we say next just because he is committed somewhere else. Recruiting is fluid and anything can change. My point was that people are getting caught up in losing an in-state player... that didn't seem to care much about playing in-state. If he weren't from TN, people would say "next!" And that's how it should be.
-austin priceSmoke says Cats but he has yet to inform either school of his decision. Kid has played this one extremely well!
-simontonAs of tonight, neither staff had been given final decision. UK has been the slight favorite for a little while but as AP said on podcast this am, no matter where he chooses tomorrow this one isn't over.
LOL… It always seems like these situations work against us. When there are friends and family putting pressure on a recruit to go to Tennessee, the recruit wants to rebel and do something else. However, when there is pressure from family and friends for a recruit to go somewhere else, they always give in and go to where the family and friends are pushing them.Talked to one of his coaches at DCHS. He’s getting a lot of pressure at school from friends and around the family to choose UT, which is making him rebel against it. He hates it. Still won’t be over til NSD.
