I've been underwhelmed with the guys Pruitt has been targeting in recruiting for a while now. Going all the way back to the 2018 signing class and who he lets go. And thus far, he's whiffed on a lot of instate guys with talent. I mean you can't let Georgia keep raiding our state and signing 4 star after 4 star from Tennessee.
Butch Jones left Pruitt a lot of talent so I expect us to have a great season in 2018. However, the future doesn't look as bright if this is how Pruitt is gonna recruit.

I thought Patterson and Logue were takes. I'm sure they'd take Washington. Probably a few others. Luckily, there are enough decent prospects in GA that we can cobble together a top 20 class if the coaches can pull a couple of upsets on the field. I do think it's a legitimate concern that we're relying heavily on out of state talent this year. If the wins don't come, we may see a blood bath on early signing day and then we'll be fighting for the leftovers in February. He's recruiting big physical and quick players.
All of his front 7 type commits are high potential players.
He's missed ONE in-state guy this cycle.
Compare Jalil Clemons and Roman harrison’s film to this guy. It isn’t even close. The hype around Logue makes zero sense to meThis kid reminds me of Aldon Smith.
Another huge recruiting miss by Jeremy Pruitt.
Pruitt better be able to coach cause his talent evaluation skills are looking lame thus far.
I dont Know how in the hell you can expect him to do any better! We have a top 15 class already after a 4-8 season. I think He should be praised for that if anything.

The best way I can describe my view of HS talent in GA as opposed to HS talent in TN, and which I'd rather have...I'll take Warren Burrell over Woodi Washington any day of the week. Burrell has went toe to toe with some of the best talent in the country, and more than holds his own. We're already close top 15 class and not finished.
I'm all for getting in-state guys.
OU, UGA, have come into Tenn to get talent.
But look at where those players rank on their commit list.
Tennessee has always produced good talent. Now, even more so. Double actually.
But ask yourself this, would you rather sign: Would you rather sign the Top 15 prospects in Georgia....or top 15 in Tennessee?

Says the guy who admits he's never strapped on a helmet, cracked heads, and had blood run down his face.... The reality is you know nothin... literally nothing... about talent. You know nothing about the game. You throw out big "blankets" so you can say you were "right" ignoring the 90%+ where you were completely wrong.
Two part answer. One, the recruiting sites are often wrong... and seem to particularly struggle with Tennessee kids. Two, UGA just went to the NC game. In case you really didn't know... that's a pretty good selling point. Pruitt's job is to get players with talent, coach them up, and win games. Pretty simple proposition but very difficult to do. You... don't even have a starting reference point for how that's done.... not even a single tear after a loss or celebration after winning a championship. Not a single August day when your sweat makes your uniform weigh 20 lbs more than it should while it chafes every moving body part. Not a single 3 day headache after "winning" the Oklahoma drill.
It would be OK if you were just satisfied to not know what you so obviously don't know... but you insist on putting your ignorance on full display.
If you understood talent... or recruiting... or how to evaluate football players beyond stars and claimed 40 times... you wouldn't make such presumptuous statements. His recruits may not work out great. But if left to trust Pruitt to find the next 3* like Dan Williams or you to question the commits he's taken. I think I'll go with the guy with the rings and years of experience evaluating talent for a JOB.
Like I posted several pages back, I have officiated in some of his games and I don't need a recruiting service nor D4h to know at this point in his hs career that he is not sec caliber. For the kids sake, I hope he has a great sr season and lives up to his hype but if I was a betting man, my money would be on Georgia gitshirting him before esd
D4H is a fun toy to play with... that's his only real value.Cedric Tillman.... 3* Freshman WR who is pushing for PT who was found by Helton and recruited by Pruitt. I think that speaks for itself.
However, I'll throw another one in there. Kurrott Garland who is a 3* Freshman DL pushing for playing time. D4H is wack with his baseless opinions. @Dobbs 4 Heisman
I agree, I didn’t see one guy from Lebanon that even looked liked they could’ve played D1 ball last year....Taylor made them look sick, I don’t even recall his name being called on the PA last year during the game, so I’ve never heard himCompare Jalil Clemons and Roman harrison’s film to this guy. It isn’t even close. The hype around Logue makes zero sense to me
and nor should you take your queues about what we think about his recruiting/development prowess from that nit wit.Pruitt usually hits on his evaluations. For some reason D4H is obsessed about how kids will translate to the pros, when all college coaches want is for them to translate to college. Pruitt took a risk on 3* safety Dominick Sanders, who ended up breaking UGA's interception record and walk on Aaron Davis who turned into a 2-3 year starter. Neither were drafted high, but both were big contributors to UGA's defense which matters more IMO. Worrying about Pruitt's recruiting is weird to me after he salvaged y'all's recruiting class, but then again I guess I don't follow UT as closely as those here.
