'19 TN DL Zion Logue (UGA Commit)

Pruitt usually hits on his evaluations. For some reason D4H is obsessed about how kids will translate to the pros, when all college coaches want is for them to translate to college. Pruitt took a risk on 3* safety Dominick Sanders, who ended up breaking UGA's interception record and walk on Aaron Davis who turned into a 2-3 year starter. Neither were drafted high, but both were big contributors to UGA's defense which matters more IMO. Worrying about Pruitt's recruiting is weird to me after he salvaged y'all's recruiting class, but then again I guess I don't follow UT as closely as those here.
The people worrying are the psychos that will be ready to fire him if UF beats us this year

who cares. that group is a minute part of this fanbase that should be on ignore anyway.

Sanders played above his ranking for sure but cost UGA the NCG. He got caught watching the QBs eyes as a SR. Pruitt is also good at first noticing talent as well. Donte Jackson was ranked low when Pruitt first offered him and then everyone else did, including LSU. Pruitt doesn’t see stars, he sees potential.

They prolly don’t get into the NCG without their defensive playmakers, so blaming any one player is shortsighted sour grapes imo.

He’s actually one of the only rival posters that I can enjoy reading their posts

Yeah...he is ok. All the rival fans that are on here can't help themselves sometimes though..I don't think I would either if I was a fan of a team that had been kicking UTs butt on the regular...then again...I don't hang out on rival sites.

I spend way to much time on this site but rarely post. Almost got divorced over it. Too many times the wife has said get off that bleep Volnation. Lol. No way I have time to linger around on other teams sites.

Hard to blame that on one person. If I did have to, Parrish was picked on all season and even more so in that game. Sanders also had a big pick in the Rose Bowl, so it's possible we don't get there without him.

I've been trying to figure out a way to find info like this, but researching it would involve just finding anecdotes like this and it's just too much work. But every time we offer some low rated guy and people complain, I wonder what percentage of Pruitt's offers in the past were low rated guys who ended up getting big bumps. We know he recruited a ton of highly rated guys in the past, I just wonder how many of them were unknowns before he offered and then they blew up. Like Donte or Jordan Young. It seems like it happens with Pruitt more than most coaches. But I haven't figured out a way to find the info. No sites list rating at time of offer.

Fair or not, people will always remember the final play. Parrish shares in that as well tho, gave him a clean release and didn’t jam him, at all. No, the last play didn’t lose the game, one different play earlier or call earlier goes the other way, Ga wins.

There was a graph on 247 that did show the rise/fall of each recruit but maybe that was replaced with the prediction graph? I’ll ask if it can be assessed somewhere and let you know.

Thanks. Would be a really interesting thing to check out to see if there is a noticeable difference in what players are rated when Pruitt offers vs when they sign.

I have to say I’ve been pretty impressed by this kid tonight. Probably 7-10 tackles in the first half. Reads the play well. Disengages from
Blocks. Athletic enough to change direction and make tackles. I wasn’t upset that we missed on him but I’m starting to rethink that.

Couldn't disagree more. Stands straight up at the snap and gets knocked off the line of scrimmage routinely. I have seen him get put on his butt numerous times. Luck's his way into a tackle then showboats. Glad he chose Georgia.

Are you at the game right now, as well?

Kid balled in the game and the Last 2 weeks. I'm a vfl but stop being homers... Kid can play, I'd take him on the hill in a minute and so would you....
